So, here we are again. Sorry for the lack of posts recently, it´s a combination of no internet access at home, a full teaching workload and finishing off the DELTA.
I have my externally observed lesson on Thursday 17th May at 2:15 local time so be thinking of me at 6:15pm if you´re in the UK or 7:15pm if you´re in Europe (don´t know the times of the other places I sometimes get visitors from). I´m sure your good thoughts will help me.
On the internet access front, I´ve cancelled the order with Arnet - should you have the misfortune to be living in Argentina do not do business with this company. They make promises they have no intention of keeping and tell bare-faced lies to cover their own incompetence. I´ll look into other suppliers after the 17th so bear with me.
Other news: I´ve had the second appointment with the orthodontist. She´s taken moulds of my teeth and lots of photographs so I´m well on the way to getting them sorted out. I remember when I had this done as a kid. The plastic moulding ´stuff´ tasted foul, went down my throat making me feel like I was being choked and seemed to take forever to set. This time it´s different. The plastic mould stuff starts off bright purple (think Barney), tastes of nougat and turns white when set (which takes about 2 minutes). I´m going back in a couple of weeks, hopefully to have the brace fitted - it´s like being 15 all over again!
The weather here is freezing. Ok not literally freezing, that doesn´t happen in BsAs, but cold enough to see your breath in the morning - and they still haven´t turned the heating on in my building, it´s a bit parky when I get up and I don´t like it. I´ll be doing something about that today!
Ok that´s it. Don´t say I never tell you anything!
But I do miss you all and I miss writing to you, normal service will be resumed soon.

And I slept at 4.000 m in Tibet without heating system in the room so I think BA not a big problem...
life here ma-ma-hu-hu , literally horse-horse-tiger-tiger but the repeated words and the two different concepts (horse\tiger does'nt mix) meaning "so-so"

Hi Shiralee,
Good to see that you're back on-line.
Life here is dominated by the abduction of a 3 year old British girl in Portugal. She's been missing for 8 days now. I just wondered if there was any news about it over there because it is thought that she could have been taken to anywhere in the world now and they are trying to appeal to the international community.
Hope you are well.
